Created for the female sneakerhead, the coffee-table book "She Kicks" tells the stories of the women pushing sneaker culture forward. Featuring power players at Nike, Adidas, Converse, StockX and more, She Kicks showcases the female entrepreneurs, designers, marketers and executives who are condemning the boys' club.
The sneaker book, created in collaboration with editor Nav Gill and founder of @GirlOnKicks Sanne Poeze, is the first of its kind to truly focus on the female creatives who are changing the way we look at a world traditionally dominated by men.
"There are so many great books about sneaker culture and the industry, but most completely ignore the contributions of women," Gill explained to Highsnobiety.
"Because I've worked in the industry for quite some time, I've met, worked with and known amazing women in all parts of the industry who have made it where it is today and never really got much credit for it."
