Tupac/Biggie presents a visual history of Dana Lixenberg's iconic photographs of legendary artists Tupac and Biggie. These photographs, commissioned by VIBE magazine in 1993 and 1996, have been appropriated to this day by countless admirers around the world.
The book shows both shoots in their entirety for the first time and describes the unforeseen trajectory and ubiquity of these images. It is accompanied by an essay by Robert Kenner and a poem by Kevin Powel - both renowned contributors to VIBE magazine - and a large poster.
