Hugo Mulder aka DHM is a painter, street artist and graphic designer from Amsterdam. He started doing graffiti in 1984 and switched his spray cans for stickers, paste-ups and murals in 2001.
Hugo's street art consists mainly of animals drawn in his well-known tribal/tattoo style and female body form in a line-driven abstract figurative style.
Besides his murals in Amsterdam, his work has been exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions in Miami, London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels and many other cities, among others. In 2006 he had his first museum exhibition in the group exhibition "Hollandse Meesters" at the Gemeente Museum Den Haag (GEM), which he also co-curated. Highlights include work for Nike, Adidas, O'Neill and Coca Cola, and publications in internationally published books and magazines.
"The year 2017 marked my 20th anniversary as an artist and my own boss. I have created a beautiful book summarizing 20 years of art by me. The book is divided into my "outdoor" street art and my "indoor" art on canvas. Two books for the price of one ;-)"
